So where is the TRUTH? The transparency? All I see is unadulterated gall

I cried for my country as I watched the coverage of the vote on health care reform. I couldn't hold back the tears.

I am fifty years old and I never dreamed that I would see this type of socialism and communism taking place right here in this great nation, in my lifetime. I have a son who is presently serving the United States Air Force, and I actually urged him to join the military. To fight for this country as many in our family has done. Now, I wonder if I led him astray.

You see, all my life I have been told that our forefathers gave up their lives so that we might live in a free country. Unafraid of a tyrannical government. Free to live our lives and prosper as we choose. To worship in the church of our choice, and to build a country for our children that would be the envy of all other countries.

There are so many things wrong with what is going on right now. When our forefathers came here from England, they came here to get away from the tyranny of the English rule. They threw teabags in the harbor in Boston to show that we would not take their taxation, they died on the battlefields protecting this country and driving out those who wished to take control. England thought that we needed to be controlled because we could not possibly know how to take of ourselves...we proved them wrong. Yet, you might ask yourself, did we?

One of the things that gave England control was the taxation, we got rid of that...but, instead of being our own country, we , at some point allowed the Federal Reserve Bank to come into our lives. Not many people know this, but in June of 1963, Pres. John F. Kennedy signed an Executive Order, ordering Congress to print it's own money, backed by the gold and silver held in Ft. Knox. They managed to put over 4 million dollars into circulation and almost broke the Federal Reserve. In Nov. of 1963, John F. Kennedy was assasinated, Johnson took over, and everything went right back to normal with dealing with The Federal Reserve and no more money was printed.

If you look up the Federal Reserve Bank, and follow the geneology, you will find it all goes right back to England. The place we ran away from! The money loaned to US government by the Federal Reserve is worth nothing! It costs the same amount of money to print a 100 dollar bill as it does to print the one dollar bill. It is backed by T-Bills...has anyone ever understood exactly what they are????? The IRS? Nothing more than a knee-busting collecter for the Federal Reserve. Much like the guys that collect for the loan sharks..you know "wise-guys.."

For years, we have cringed at the thought of being called in by the IRS...it is nothing more than fear and intimidation that they operate off of and it works...we fill out the tax form every year and send in those taxes, we believe that we must do so in order to avoid losing everything we have or going to jail...seems to me that the facts tying them to the Federal Reserve, only proves that both entities are FOREIGN entities, with no rights to infringe upon the American people...yet we give it to them.

Now, Obama care...the biggest joke in American History! They will spend over 2 trillion dollars supposedly to save 1 trillion dollars! Every since that man took office and Pelosi, Reid, and the other menions have had control, their accounting makes absolutely no sense to the common man!

If any of us were to try these accounting tactics we would be mocked and dismissed, yet they can do it! The only jobs that will be created with this new bill, is the hiring of 16,000 new IRS agents who will be enforcing the new laws about health care. Meaning, if you don't have it, they will be getting into to your bank accounts and taking the fines for you not following orders.

How long are we going to sit back and continue to be bullied and threatened into compliance with a government that is so totally opposite of what this country was founded on?? Have we become so lazy in our lifestyles that we are willing to sit back and allow this type of tyranny? What happened to the hard working America???? Americans who believed that you EARNED your way in life, who believed that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction?

The present administration, Democrats and unfortunately Republicans as well, have failed to heed the cry of the American People, they refuse to listen to our voice. They feel that they know more than we know and that they know better, what is best for us!!

Our soldiers are ENTITLED to come home to a free country! To know, that should their life be lost, it will not be in vain, their family will be free.

Our people are ENTITLED to worship where they choose.

Our people are ENTITLED to work and earn a living and spend their money as they see fit, not be told how they are goiong to spend it!

Our people are ENTITLED to BE HEARD!!! The United States of America has a government by the people, for the people, that is the way it was laid down from the beginning, and now they want to tell us how things are going to be done. The make a mockery of our forefathers! They spit on the Constitution and say it is fundamentally flawed!

That Constitution has held up for over 200 years and they say it is flawed?????

Wake up people! They are not up to any good, they are up to no good and they want to take over and stay in power so that they may run our lives from this point forward! Liken them unto Hitler and his kind! This present administration is out to destroy America as we know her, and create the ruled world that they want! Obama has been compared to Lincoln...we must remind him that Lincoln freed the slaves, he did not create slaves! That is what they want, slaves!

Jo Walker is a mother of five wonderful children ages ranging from 18 to 31.  She has two wonderful grandchildren, and a wonderful man in her life.  Her first article, "What's  Mother To Do?" is but a small  portion of what she has dealt with in her lifetime as a parent.  She has other stories that she has  written as well as poetry. 

Writing is a theraputic for her, as she is not one who readily talks about the things that go on inside.  She hopes that her writing, in some way will move someone or help someone.  God Bless

The Constitution has 27 amendments, so obviously it was never perfect. That is all moot, since we have many other socialized systems in place, not the least of which is a socialized military that you seem to hold in high enough regard.

Would you care to elaborate as to the military being a socialized military? I pride myself on being open-minded and ready to listen to the opinions of others. All other socialized programs in place seem only to benefit those who do not want to participate in the everyday workings of everyday life. They want everything given to them and they don't want to have to do anything in return. This country was built on the backs of those who believed in FREEDOM...not socialism!

First of all I never said I had to "shoot my way to the welfare office" nor do I hate the welfare office. You sir, seem to be very pretentious and full of things to say that slam others. This seems to indicate an unfulfilled desire for control that may require professional attention.
 
I am not trying to "sell" anything, and I don't believe Ms. Walker is either- we're merely expressing our opinions.
 
Adressing the racist comment you made about my using a "black woman" to help write my paper- I am a mixed race citizen. I'm willing to bet you hadn't taken that into your considerations. Heaven forbid that someone who isn't white agree with the republican conservatives on a few things!
 
You sir, are misinformed at best and a complete ignoramous at worst. Please do the world a favor and think before you respond- it may save you some trouble.
 
Here's a little shock therapy for you- I am a mixed race woman who is working hard to better herself, who wishes that the world wouldn't look down on me for the color of my skin, who wishes that ignorant people like you would stop trying to help us "minorities" give voice to our "troubles", and most importantly, who loves her country for what it is supposed to stand for and hates seeing it destroyed by liberal ideas and practices.
 
President Obama doesn't speak for me, and he doesn't speak for the majority of "minorities" either. He's just another hood ornament on a failing engine. Our country needs change, but not what he's offering.
 
You cannot speak for the lower classes if you've never been a part of them, so please take your rhetoric and spew it somewhere else- leave us right wingers to our own devices.
 
By the way- when people get fed up with being forced into reforms they don't agree with and the riots begin- I sincerely hope that your rhetorical misinformation and righteous biggotry are as good as my guns and bullets at stopping them from harming yourself and your family.
 
Guns don't kill people, people do. You'd do well to remember that when it comes to talking down to people who advocate our right to bear arms.
