How Can Some People Be So Inept???

The Democratic party continues to use the terms "the last 8 years" when describing the situati
on presently at hand.  "It was the administration of the last 8 years that got us to this point..etc"
Over and over again....so let's set something straight.

It was not the administration of the last 8 years that created this situation...it was the Congress of the last 2 years that created this situation.

Barack Obama thinks that "HE" can make sure changes take place for the betterment of the average American...even he is not fully understanding of the fact that it is truly, Pelosi, Reid, Kennedy, etc, that are in charge of what gets done. The Stimulus package is a perfect example.
There is absolutely no way that Barack Obama read through that package and thoroughly understood everything that was in it.

There are so many lies coming out of Washington right now and the biggest one is "We are here to make things better!"  Come on people!  How stupid do you really think the American people are?

You say we must ban guns in order to keep them from crossing the borders and getting into the hands of terrorist.  Do your really expect us to believe that if you take our guns, the criminals won't have access to them?  Give me a break!  Taking the guns out of the hands of the American people will only enable the criminals to perform their illegal acts without fear of harm coming to them.  Tell me liberals, do you really want a socialistic lifestyle?  The government will tell you what to do, when to do it, how to do it, and who you can do it with.   They will decide if you work, when you work and what type of work you will do.  They will decide how you will get paid, how much you will get paid, and whether or not you will get paid or if you must work to pay them for what they have given you.

Wake up folks!  There is no FREE LUNCH !  Every man, woman and child that is born in these United States have the RIGHT to be successful, to own property, to LIVE, go to the Church of their choice, and to decide if they want to work for someone else or build their own businesses to attain that success.  I refuse to constantly work my tail end off only to have to give it to someone who doesn't believe they have to work.  There is no "entitlement".  You are born with certain rights under God's law and man's law.  The rest of the rights you must earn.

You ask, how do you earn rights?  You earn rights by being constructive, productive members of society.  You take instruction from your parents, you get an education, you get a job and learn a trade.  You take an interest in your community and your country and make decisions with the knowledge of the long term results.

Immediate satisfaction pertains only to your food.  You want it to taste good, and to fulfill your bodies requirements for living.  The immediate satisfaction comes only in the first bite.  If it tastes good, the first step is covered and the second, and third will follow.  If it tastes bad, then spit it out and move to something else or recook it.  Simple.   Immediate satisfaction does not pertain to goals in life.  Each goal must start with a first step to attain the satisfaction in the end result.

If the politicians would take responsibility for their actions, and quit blaming each other, simply agree that they were wrong, their choices were wrong, and that we need to get back to LESS government control, then we might stand a chance to become again, the America our forefathers meant us to be.

How many people realize that the US Government was meant to be only a Central Government? All states have a right to their own government and can operate their own business without interference of the Central government.  The American people have given too much control to the elected officials and need to take a stand and stand up and say "NO MORE!"  If you cannot do the job that we elected you to do, then you are out and we will replace you with someone who will do the job.  You are elected and you can be rejected.  Congress needs to get on the right page.
